Brief
A public directory of physical AI: the machines that use AI to act in the real world, the companies that build them, and the evidence of what those machines actually do. It is explored by map, by category and by machine.
It is a selection, not a census. Coverage grows as research turns into profiles, and the rules for what counts are published on the site.
Problem
Most robotics news is a launch video. A company says its robot works, and nothing next to the claim says whether anyone outside the company has seen it work.
The directories that exist are company-first and sorted by funding, and they keep a company’s own claims in the same list as independent reports. Hardware also depends on place — factories, test sites and hubs such as Shenzhen, the Bay Area and Munich — which a ranked list cannot show.
Solution
The machine comes first. Each one carries two separate statuses, because selling a robot and proving it works are different things: how far it has got commercially, and the strongest evidence that it operates, from a company demo up to a documented deployment.
Every claim is attached to a source with a publisher and a date, and each profile shows when it was last reviewed. Companies, their sites and their machines sit on one map, and any entry can be shared as a card.
